IBIS Projects

Since IBIS Energy established following projects were delivered to our clients:

Dynamic model construction and history matching using probabilistic assisted history matching technique, production forecast, wells intervention design and optimisation.

Two gas reservoir approaching end of their life was studied and evaluated repurposing option for CCS . Compositional models were constructed to evaluated storage capacity, injectivity. Preliminary optimisations were carried out on wells locations, numbers and their perforation. Initial monitoring and verification plan was prepared. Laboratory measurements are planned and in progress which would be used as part of storage declaration submission document.

Total of 11 IFT test were received from our client (based in India) for their CBM asset, interpretation were carried out using Kappa platform and comprehensive reports were prepared for client. Project is ongoing and could evolve to a modelling exercise.

Two depleted gas reservoirs in Australia (Victoria) were evaluated, comprehensive analytical reservoir engineering task was carried out, dynamic models were constructed, calibrated to field data with high focus on contact over time, cushion gas amount was estimated and different scenarios were carried out with focus on well count, Dynamic limits and injection production durations.

Dynamic Model was updated and history matched, after achieving acceptable match performance of adding infill wells (Slanted and horizontal) were evaluated, highest incremental well with multiple target was selected as final optimised case.
